Pesto Chicken Crescent Rolls

Where are my pesto lovers at!? This is such an effortless dinner that will impress everyone!

Ingredients:

  • Crescent Rolls (DF option: Pilsbury has dairy free ones)

  • Pesto (DF option: Whole Foods has a TON of vegan pestos!)

  • Mozzarella Cheese (DF option: Daiya Mozzarella Cheese)

  • Spinach

  • 2-3 Chicken breast

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325 degrees.

  2. Cook your chicken on the stove or in the oven and let it cool. I usually just season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. You will be cutting the chicken into small strips, so make sure it is cooked fully and cooled before you cut it.

  3. Lay out your crescent roll triangles on a flat surface.

  4. Spread some of the pesto on the crescent roll dough. Then top it with spinach leaves.

  5. After you have this completed, layer some mozzarella cheese on top of the spinach.

  6. THEN add your sliced chicken and ROLL it up!

  7. Spread some pesto on top of the rolls before you bake them.

  8. Bake the rolls at 325 degrees until golden brown!

  9. SERVE!!
